Health & Safety Officer - Required Urgently

The role needs someone with an obvious interest in Health & Safety (H&S) as well as a basic awareness of the legislation:

• The ability to advise and train the staff and volunteers on H&S matters whilst working with the interests of the church and it's events.

•  Documenting findings and maintaining

•  An ability to undertake or organise risk assessments for the many events that take place both on and off premises

•  Monthly inspections of the areas including church, grounds and other buildings used by public.

The time element perhaps could be suggested as four to five hours per month to begin with but could be more depending on keenness!
