Weddings

The beauty of this church and the high standard of its music have made All Saints Fulham a popular place for thousands of weddings over 900 years.  All Saints Fulham is particularly loved and the wonderful care of its building and churchyard owes much to the generosity, work and care of the people of Fulham who have worshipped here for generations.

The church has a particularly fine set of bells, which are rung every Sunday.  A favourite peal for weddings is the change 135246 which is called Queens, named after Queen Elizabeth 1 who, when passing through the City of London heard church bells ringing this change, stopped her coach and commented how pleasing the bells sounded.

If you would like to get married at All Saints Fulham we will do all we can to ensure your wedding day is a very happy one and that your marriage begins on the firmest foundations.  You will be invited to make your solemn promises to each other, not only in front of your family and friends but in the sight of God and with God’s blessing.

We will help you to prepare carefully for your marriage, both with the logistics and emotionally and spiritually through our Marriage Preparation Course.  Your service will be made as personal as we can make it, bearing in mind that the church is in use for public worship and other purposes, too.

You can get married at All Saints Fulham in one of three ways.  If one or both of you live in the parish, or are habitual worshippers at the church for at least six months, or have a strong link with the parish through family or work.  If one or both of you has been divorced then the clergy will want to discuss with you how the previous marriage went wrong and the needs and concerns of any children from a previous marriage or relationship.  If the clergy are happy to marry you then you can be married under the same qualifying conditions as above.  If one of you belongs to another faith, which is not Christian, then it may still be possible for you to get married at All Saints Fulham but you must have the normal Christian service.

You may like to look at our Alternative Wedding Gift Guide for ways of not only keeping the cost down but also giving family and friends the opportunity to make your wedding even more special because of their thoughts and contributions.

If you would like to know more about booking a wedding at All Saints Fulham, please call in at the Vestry Office in church on a Monday evening between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm or ring the Parish Office.
