Beavers
Beavers are the youngest part of the Scout movement - six to eight year olds - getting a taste of what it means to be a Scout, preparing them for the move to becoming a Cub when they turn eight.

The Scout movement is all about physicality, community, curiosity and testing one's limits. It aims to give children a sense of responsibility towards those around them and a sense of unity within their ‘colony’. The hour is spent playing team games and working towards badges.
There are normally two outings a term, either to get badges or to go on day visits to campsites. The hour costs just £1.50 and the outings vary.
Beavers takes place in the Church Hall every Wednesday at 5.15 pm to 6.15 pm during term time – however, please note that there is a waiting list. Further details about Beavers may be found by clicking here.
