Charities
All Saints Fulham allocates 10% of its annual income from planned giving and collections to worthwhile charities and missions. The Missions and Charities Committee (MCC) is a sub committee of the Parochial Church Council which makes recommendations as to which charities should be supported. Traditionally, allocations have been made twice a year, March for overseas charities and October for UK charities.
The MCC is particularly keen to support charities where a member of the congregation is actively involved or has a clear connection and, in the case of UK charities, we also consider whether they are active in our local area.
We welcome (and actively seek) charity nominations from the congregation and are particularly happy to support smaller charities as we feel that the sums we can give will mean more to them.
