Gospel Choir
Membership of All Saints Fulham Gospel Choir is open to all, members come from our local Fulham community and from much further afield.
The choir rehearses twice a month on Saturday mornings and sings once a month at the 11.30 am Family Service. It is an enthusiastic and sociable group made up of people of all ages and abilities, brought together by their enjoyment of gospel music.
The All Saints Fulham Gospel Choir sings praise, worship and thanksgiving in a mixture of contemporary and traditional gospel styles.
There is no audition but potential members should be able to carry a tune and have a pretty good sense of rhythm. We sing from the heart and not from the printed page, so an ability to read music is not needed.
We have been singing since 2004 and led by Karen Gibson, the conductor of the award-winning Kingdom Choir. Currently our director is Junior Garr. Our regular accompanist is Emmanuel Waldron, jazz and solo piano player, producer, arranger and composer.
Rehearsals take place in All Saints Church (SW6 3LA), though occasionally we rehearse in All Saints Church Hall. The side door to the church is open at rehearsal times, i.e. the door on the far side of the church from the river, the small entrance near the road rather than the main entrance on that side. The church hall is at 70a Fulham High Street and the post code is SW6 3LG
