Guides
Guides is for all girls aged 10 to 14. They meet every Tuesday evening during term time in the Church Hall.

Being a Guide is all about learning new skills, making your own decisions and having fun. Guiding provides a safe environment to explore new possibilities and achieve personal goals while making friends and having adventures.
It is up to each Guide to work out which opportunities are relevant for her, whether it is improving her football skills, party planning or learning about independent living.
The Guides' programme covers five main sections which are:
- Healthy lifestyles
- Global awareness
- Skills and relationships
- Celebrating diversity
- Discovery (of new experiences and adventures)
Recently we have been ice skating and swimming, baked cakes and eaten food from around the world, tried putting up a tent, learnt about other countries, sung camp fire songs, made facemasks and had a fashion parade, and played lots of games.
If you are aged over 14 there is still the opportunity to take part in Guiding as a Young Leader or Ranger, and if you are over 18 we're always looking for people to show us new skills and activities.
If you are interested in being a Guide, Young Leader or Ranger please let us know. Further details about Girl Guiding may be found by clicking here.
