Health & Safety Officer

The role needs someone with an obvious interest in Health & Safety (H&S) as well as a basic awareness of the legislation:

  • The ability to advise and train the staff and volunteers on H&S matters whilst working with the interests of the church and it's events
  • Documenting findings and maintaining
  • An ability to undertake or organise risk assessments for the many events that take place both on and off premises
  • Monthly inspections of the areas including church, grounds and other buildings used by public
