Prayer Mobile
The prayer mobile uses digital technology to connect people with prayer requests to a group of people who pray for them.

The prayer mobile ministry uses an ordinary mobile phone that is monitored daily, seven days a week. To pick up and relay the messages, a team of “guardians” take turns holding the mobile for a week. The guardians then transcribe the prayers and circulate them by email, confidentially and anonymously to an expanding group of ‘pray-ers’.
Most of the callers leaving messages are asking for prayers for family and friends, mainly for those who are ill, bereaved or going through difficult times. The appeal is that the prayer mobile is anonymous, yet constantly available and offers almost instant response in prayer. By connecting callers, guardians and ‘pray-ers’, the mobile technology provides an opportunity for the church community to minister to each other. The Prayer Mobile is available to anyone who would like to make a prayer request. Prayers of thanksgiving are also welcome!
