What’s On
Please find below details of some of the forthcoming activities at All Saints Fulham. If you would like to be added to our weekly e-mail update please let us know.
5 February 2012
Third Sunday before Lent
A very warm welcome to All Saints Fulham.
If you are new to our church, say hello to one of our Welcomers and visit the Welcome Desk at the back of the church. Our Welcomers can answer any questions you may have and introduce you to members of the church.
Palm Crosses
If you have any palm crosses from last year, please put them in the bag at the back of church so they can be turned into ash for use on Ash Wednesday (22 February).
Boys School in Fulham
A group of parents are working on proposals for the Fulham Boys School - a free C of E boys’ secondary school potentially opening in September 2013. The proposals need to be with the Department for Education by half term, including firm evidence of demand from local parents that this school is wanted and needed. If you have a Year 4 or 5 boy, please support this cause by filling out a very short questionnaire online www.fulhamboysschool.org As parents of boys will be painfully aware, there are no LOCAL boys faith schools other than the heavily oversubscribed Oratory school, and this is affecting our local faith primary schools badly. Please fill in this form, by mid-February at the latest, to help make this new school a reality. Many thanks.
London to Brighton Bike Ride
In previous years, riders from All Saints Fulham, Putney and St Mary's have enjoyed a great and (mostly!) sunny bike ride. The team has 30 reserved places for this year’s ride which takes place on Sunday 17 June 2012. If you are interested in taking part, please contact Rachel Brett by phone on 07979 302301 or by e-mail rachel.brett@logica.com. You will need to enter individually by 14th February.

Thames Water Supersewer
Thames Water propose to build a supersewer to stop the Thames flooding, and have chosen Carnwarth Road, by the river in Fulham, as the preferred site for the main access shaft. Building this shaft will take 7 years. Thames Water are running a public consultation, which you can complete online www.thamestunnelconsultation.co.uk the deadline for the consultation is 10 February 2012
Charitable Giving
All Saints Church gives a proportion of its income to charity. In January preference will be given to overseas charities, which are relatively small, not well funded from other sources and with whom there is a demonstrable link to this church. Please submit nominations to Hugh Alford via the Parish Office or charity@allsaints-fulham.org.uk
A lift to Church please!
Ada is an elderly lady who lives very close to Church but is now unable to walk the short distance on foot to the 9.30am service. Please email parishmanager@allsaints-fulham.org.uk if you are able to collect her en route
