Access

We want our church buildings to be open to all, though an old building presents certain challenges. There is step-free access to the interior of the church and a ramp can be provided to give access to other parts of the building

For any queries about specific access requirements, please contact our Parish Office.

Within the church

A welcomer will be at the main door to help throughout each service. Please ask for their assistance at any time.

Currently the preferred entrance is through the glass doors at the back of church, but a church minder or welcomer will help you through the north door where there is step-free access. There are two spaces for wheelchairs in the centre aisle of the main pews.

Ask a welcomer if you would prefer to have communion brought to you where you are sitting.

A trained first-aider is usually available at every service.

The church provides wheelchairs for any visitors to use.

Parking

We have a designated Blue Badge parking space by the North Door. Parking in the churchyard is restricted to those who absolutely need it.

At Christmas and Easter Services no parking is allowed in the churchyard. People with limited mobility can always be dropped off outside the church door.

Mobility scooters can be parked at the back of church.

Hearing

An induction loop is available in church. Please sit in the front two-thirds of pews on the right  of the main aisle.

Visual impairment

Assistance dogs are welcome.
