Charities supported

coffee morning

At All Saints, we give 5% of our annual Planned Giving donations to support charitable causes.

The Missions and Charities Committee meets two or three times a year to consider charities nominated and make recommendations to the PCC. We also consider donations in between meetings where an urgent need has been identified.

We welcome nominations for charities to support - please either send us an email or pass the details to one of the clergy.

We have set some criteria which we weigh up when deciding which charities to support, which are:

  • Whether a member of the All Saints congregation is actively involved with the charity;
  • The extent to which All Saints has already granted funds to the organisation;
  • Whether the charity is well run and appropriately funded.
  • The local (i.e. Fulham) impact of the charity;
  • Whether the charity's aims and activities are consistent with a Christian outlook;
  • Whether All Saints’ support would make a real difference to the charity.

Charities with an overseas impact are considered as well as local ones, particularly where a member of the congregation has a strong connection.

In 2023, the Missions and Charities Committee met twice to consider nominations and also made donations in response to emergencies, amounting to a total of £10,500.  The list of charities supported is set out below.

Meetings to consider nominations for 2024 will take place in March and October.
