Funerals and Memorial Services

If you have been bereaved recently and wish to arrange a funeral, cremation or memorial service, please contact the Parish Office on 020 7736 3264 or email our parish secretary. We can provide bereavement support as well as advising on practical arrangements.

Church of England Funerals

The clergy can help you decide what form of service to choose, and will want to meet with you to plan the service, and they can suggest hymns, music and readings. For those who have not been members of All Saints, the meeting with you is helpful in order that we can learn more about the life of your loved one.

Clergy will officiate at funerals at a crematorium or cemetery chapel, as well as funerals held in church. For funerals held in church, we can provide an organist, a choir and verger according to your preference. The Parish Administrator provides details of fees and liaises with clergy and Funeral Directors.

Remembrance and support

Every year at All Souls tide, we hold a sung Requiem Eucharist for all who have died in previous years. Again, we will write to you inviting you to join us for that service.

All Saints also has a bereavement visitors team, and if it seems appropriate to you, the clergy who officiates at the funeral of your loved one, will suggest a visitor who can be there as a listening presence.
